is a signed agreement for the following:
be closed from 12/25/2010 - 01/03/2011.
far as wages for that week. The company is NOT paying for this closing. However, an employee can use their
own time as they wish. Here are a couple of examples: someone has not used any of their own vacation time in 2010,
they can choose to take this as vacation time and get paid for the entire week. They can choose to use 2 vacation days
and take the other 2 days unpaid. OR they can take the entire week unpaid and still carry over the vacation time they
have saved throughout 2010. An employee can also use APX time if they want. These DO NOT have to be prescheduled.
However, before the closing of the offices, you must let your supervisor know how you would like to code this at that time.
If you have no time left, this time will be unpaid.
I have not addressed a question that you may have, please contact myself or another officer and we should be able to give
you that information.
All members should have received their retroactive reimbursement
for the wage increase in the paycheck dated 1/16/2009 for the week ending 1/10/2009. The company has now started deducting
dues from your paychecks.
If you need to know how much you owe and/or would like to set
up a payment arrangements, please contact Sharon Civittolo at email@example.com and she will work with you. Every member will be responsible to the Local for dues through the week ending 01/03/2009.
