regards to the Christmas week shut down, there have been several people asking about this week and how it is going to work.   There
is a signed agreement for the following:   SuperMedia will
                           be closed from 12/25/2010 - 01/03/2011.     As
far as wages for that week.  The company is NOT paying for this closing.   However, an employee can use their
own time as they wish.  Here are a couple of examples:  someone has not used any of their own vacation time in 2010,
they can choose to take this as vacation time and get paid for the entire week.  They can choose to use 2 vacation days
and take the other 2 days unpaid.  OR they can take the entire week unpaid and still carry over the vacation time they
have saved throughout 2010.  An employee can also use APX time if they want.  These DO NOT have to be prescheduled.
However, before the closing of the offices, you must let your supervisor know how you would like to code this at that time.
If you have no time left, this time will be unpaid.     If
I have not addressed a question that you may have, please contact myself or another officer and we should be able to give
                           you that information.   In

Famous Quotes: "Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if
Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration"...*Abraham Lincoln*
" . . . Workers have a right to organize into unions and to bargain collectively with their employers, and . . . a strong,
free labor movement is an invigorating and necessary part of our industrial society"...*Dwight D. Eisenhower*
